Sharing Ohio School-based Health Center Census Data, Tools, and Resources

The Ohio School-Based Health Alliance conducted a statewide census of school-based health centers (SBHCs) in Ohio, most recently updated for the 2024–2025 school year.

SBHCs are established through partnerships between schools or school districts and healthcare providers to increase access to, at minimum, primary healthcare services for students directly on school campuses.

By removing barriers to care, SBHCs reduce disparities and improve both health and educational outcomes for Ohio’s children. This collaborative approach between the health and education sectors is transformational in ensuring that Ohio’s children are healthy, supported, and ready to learn.
