HealthPath Foundation of Ohio is seeking new Board members

HealthPath Foundation of Ohio is a regional health foundation committed to advancing health equity and improving the health and well-being of Ohioans through strategic grantmaking, partnerships, and intermediary services.

As we continue to strengthen our Board, we are seeking individuals who bring diverse perspectives, experiences, skills, and connections that will help HealthPath lead boldly in advancing health equity across Ohio. We are particularly interested in candidates with finance and/or investment expertise and individuals who live and/or work in rural and/or Appalachian counties within HealthPath’s 36-county service area. We welcome and will thoughtfully consider all applicants who are aligned with and passionate about our mission.

HealthPath Board members help provide strategic leadership, fiduciary oversight, and thoughtful governance of the Foundation. Board service includes:

• A minimum three-year term, with the opportunity to serve up to three consecutive three-year terms

• Four to six Board meetings each year, with a combination of in-person and virtual meetings

• Meaningful engagement in discussion, decision-making, and strategic direction

• Fiduciary and financial oversight

• Opportunities to review grant applications, participate in short-term committees, and engage in conferences and community events

• Opportunities for learning, professional development, and deeper engagement with issues affecting the health and well-being of Ohioans
