Oral Health Ohio Symposium

Join us on November 4th in Springfield, Ohio
 

The statewide Oral Health Ohio Symposium brings together individuals, stakeholders, and partners from across diverse professions to learn and work together toward improving equity and oral health integration across health care systems.



​Who Should Attend?

Those working to build healthier communities should attend. This includes oral health providers, social workers, primary care providers, nurses, community health workers/promotoras, policy makers, payers, community-based organizations, philanthropy, and healthcare advocates. All are welcome.

Learning Objectives:

By attending this conference, participants will be able to:

  1. Define oral health equity and describe opportunities to improve health equity and integration across the lifespan.

  2. Identify key oral health challenges faced by special populations (panel discussion and Renee Joskow)

  3. List examples of community-based initiatives that reduce oral health disparities in marginalized communities and increase integration of oral health across healthcare sectors.

Continuing Education:

Continuing education credits are pending for dentists, dental hygienists, social workers, physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and behavioral health providers.
