Join us for ALOUD: A Workshop for Live Storytelling

If you were able to join us for our 20th anniversary luncheon a few weeks ago, you heard from our keynote speaker, Dr. Gail C. Christopher, about the importance of storytelling. It is through sharing stories that we can begin to change behaviors and mindsets.

To support your organization in its storytelling process, we are pleased to welcome Andy Goodman to Ohio for three sessions of ALOUD: A Workshop for Live Storytelling on the following dates:

  • Monday, November, 11, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. (Fort Piqua Plaza in Piqua)

  • Tuesday, November 12, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (Child Focus in Cincinnati)

  • Wednesday, November 13, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (St. Clairsville Public Library in St. Clairsville)

During the 3-hour, intensive workshop, participants will develop and share one story about their organization's work. Andy will lead participants through the ALOUD curriculum, which includes:

  • The Structure and Qualities of Effective Stories

  • Why Beginnings and Endings Matter Most

  • Being Specific, Concrete and Visual

  • Being You, Only Better

The workshop is open to individuals who share the stories of the nonprofits serving HealthPath's 36-county service area, and is free to participate. Each workshop is the same and limited to 25 participants. The deadline to register is Friday, November 1, 2019.
