HealthPath is Seeking Volunteer Proposal Reviewers for the 2015 Community Connections initiative

We are seeking community members to help us decide what projects get funded through Community Connections grants by volunteering to serve on a Grant Proposal Review Committee. In 2015, Community Connections is funding family violence prevention projects. Volunteers will make recommendations about which projects to fund, learn more about family violence prevention efforts, and network with others in their communities.

Help us make Ohio a healthier place to live by volunteering to review proposals from your community.

The HealthPath Foundation of Ohio started the Community Connections initiative in 2012 to increase knowledge of best and promising practices related to our focus areas, provide small grant funding to implement best and promising practices, and broaden our geographic reach within our service area.

As the name of the program suggests, we want to create connections within communities in our service area to help Ohioans achieve their fullest health potential. One method of accomplishing that is to empower people from these communities to be involved in the grantmaking process.
